Full-System Diagnostics

The KINGBOLEN K7 works with more than 100 car makes worldwide (1996 and newer).
It can read and clear DTCs, view ECU information, live data, and freeze frame data.
Active tests and special functions are supported for all vehicle systems – giving you dealer-level diagnostic capabilities.

Main Functions:

• Read / Clear DTCs: Locate and clear trouble codes after repairs.

• Read ECU Information: View control unit type, software version, and more.

• Live Data: Display in text, graph, or 4-in-1 format for better comparison.

• Freeze Frame: View snapshot data when a fault occurs (e.g., engine misfire).

• Auto VIN: Automatically identifies the vehicle’s make, model, and year (if VIN is programmed in ECU).

Bi-Directional Control + ECU Coding

The KINGBOLEN K7 supports active tests that send commands to ECUs to check actuator functions without disassembly.

Supported tests include:
A/C clutch, fuel injectors, ABS pump, cooling fans, solenoids, relays, interior lighting, windows, doors, sunroofs, wipers, and more.
Also EVAP purge/vent valves, fuel trim, injector buzz tests, compressor relay, and others.

ECU Coding functions:
Unlock hidden features and customize settings, such as:

• Disable seat belt buzzer

• Adjust auto Start-Stop

• Enable mirror folding

• Disable DRL lights

• Modify auto lock/unlock functions

Note: ECU coding is not supported on all models. ECU programming is not available.
