  • This universal steering lock emulator is designed for Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen Crafter, Dodge Freightliner, and other vehicles equipped with an Electronic Steering Lock (ESL / ELV) system. Steering lock failure is one of the most common issues in these systems, often preventing the vehicle from starting even with a working key.

    This emulator allows you to bypass the faulty lock module instantly – no programming, no coding, and no additional tools required.

    It is a plug and play solution, ideal for permanent replacement or diagnostic use during vehicle service and repair.

    How to use:

    1. Disconnect the original ELV module from the steering column

    2. If the steering lock is engaged – remove the unit manually

    3. Connect the emulator in place of the original ELV

    4. Insert the key – if the LED is green, the vehicle is ready to start
