Volvo S40 / C70 / C30 / V50 ESL / ELV Steering Lock Emulator with Lock Sound (Programming Required)

This steering lock emulator is designed for Volvo S40, C70, C30, and V50 vehicles equipped with an Electronic Steering Lock (ESL / ELV / SCL) system. A common issue in these models is a faulty steering lock that prevents the car from starting even with a functioning key.

Programming is required for this emulator – synchronization with the vehicle's CEM module must be performed.

Installation instructions:

1. Connect the emulator to the vehicle to retrieve data from the CEM/SCL systems

2. When the emulator starts blinking red and green, it enters the learning mode

3. Connect the CAN line to the original steering lock (SCL)

4. Insert the key into the ignition – the emulator should light up green

5. After synchronization, unplug the red, green, and black wires

6. Finally, plug the emulator directly into the original steering lock connector

Important Information:

• The emulator works only after successfully capturing and saving the synchronization code from the vehicle

• Without synchronization with the CEM/SCL system, the emulator will not function properly
